the future of the Esher Shore Bike Park in Surrey, South-East England is under threat
basically, the bike park is run as a "not for profit" company, meaning it does not aim to "make money", but to cover its running costs which are primarily the rent of the site, and liability insurance to protect the bike park from being sued if accidents occur

I may be down in London in a few weeks. I'll come by and do what I can to help maintain stuff. It would be very sad indeed for the park to shut down, I've had a lot of fun there, and I know Rob has done countless hours of increadibly hard work building and maintaining it, just for the love of it. I'll try and rustle up some mates to come with me and ride / build!
